Once on board we nurture and promote talented individuals, making sure that senior positions are open to all. **Discover the Role** The primary responsibility of the Accountant is to work with the Accounting Manager and the other team members in meeting the accounting, tax and other reporting commitments.
S/he is responsible for individual goals and helping to meet the wider departmental goals. Furthermore, the Accountant will ensure timely and quality accounts preparation and calculation and daily deliverables of excellent services **Key Responsibilities**
- Accounting records of wages & salaries
- Treasury management, negotiating with banks
- VAT settlements and Periodic VAT settlements communication
- Checking VAT registers; VAT return
- Tax payment
- Control and monitoring of accounting records
- Year-end adjustment entries (for Statutory Financial Statements purposes)
- Keeping the Company’s statutory accounting books **Key Requirements**
- Good knowledge of English (B2)
- Expertise in all MS Office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
- High School Diploma and/or Degree Economics
- Up to 5 years’ experience in similar Organizations
- Good client services skills and ability to meet required deadlines
- Responsible and organized
- Ensure that all accounting procedures remain in line with applicable law and overall objectives
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of Accounting and budget account
- Operational knowledge of VAT and other corporate taxation matters
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements for companies in Italy (Statutory deadlines, filing requirements etc.). **What’s in it for you?** Working flexibility
