Are you a Senior Planning Engineer with a track record developing and monitoring projects schedules on major oil and gas projects? Do you have experience coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams on offshore projects?brQualifiche, competenze e l'esperienza necessaria per questo ruolo sono disponibili nella descrizione completa riportata di seguito. brHill International is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to support the expansion of a major offshore oil and gas complex in Libya. The project will be managed from Milan and the successful candidate will be required to have the right to work in Italy. brAs the Planning Engineer on this project, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules to ensure timely execution of all phases — from engineering to procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, and handover. You will support the Project Manager and Project Service Manager by providing schedule forecasts, progress updates, and delay analysis, enabling proactive project management. brSchedule Development Baseline Preparation brDevelop the Project Master Schedule in line with the Project Execution Plan (PEP). brEstablish Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and activity coding in coordination with project disciplines. brDefine critical path activities and key project milestones. brEnsure alignment of the schedule with cost control, procurement, and engineering deliverables. brProgress Monitoring Control brMonitor actual progress versus the baseline schedule. brUpdate schedules periodically (weekly/monthly) with real progress data.



brIdentify schedule deviations and propose recovery/mitigation plans. brCoordination with Project Teams brLiaise with engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and offshore teams to collect progress data. brIntegrate subcontractor schedules into the overall project schedule. brEnsure offshore and onshore execution schedules are aligned for critical interfaces. brReporting Analysis brPrepare weekly/monthly schedule reports for management and the client. brPresent updated Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis. brProduce “look-ahead” schedules for short-term planning. brPerform schedule impact analysis for change orders and variations. brSupport claims preparation with time impact analysis (TIA). brQualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: brBachelor of Science (BSc) Degree in Engineering from an accredited university. brWork experience of ten (10) years after earning the BSc degree. brCandidates should have a minimum of 5 years of offshore experience in total, with at least the last 3–5 years spent on offshore projects. brExcellent spoken and written English including proven ability to write reports. brHigh attention to detail in schedule preparation and reporting. brProactive in identifying and mitigating risks to the schedule. brHill International provides program, project, and construction management services for clients in a range of sectors undertaking major construction projects across the world. xrdbqlu Our services include cost engineering and estimating, quality assurance, inspection, scheduling, risk management, and claims avoidance.
