It currently oversees several hotel units located in Vilamoura, Carvoeiro, Lagos, Albufeira and Madeira, as well as the largest golf portfolio in Portugal, including the golf courses in Vilamoura, PGA Aroeira Lisboa, Palmares and Vale Pisão. Internationally, DETAILS also manages two golf courses in Sicily, integrated within the Costa Ragusa destination. The role also oversees the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of maintenance practices, supporting both the construction/grow-in phase and long-term operational excellence. /p pb Key Responsibilities: /b /pulli Maintain all playing surfaces (greens, fairways, tees, bunkers, roughs) to the highest quality standards /lili Implement and manage turf care programs, including fertilization, irrigation, and pest control /lili Ensure efficient water use and environmentally responsible maintenance practices /lili Support golf course construction, grow-in, and turf establishment phases /lili Oversee irrigation installation, soil preparation,



and agronomic planning during development /lili Ensure smooth transition from construction to full operational maintenance /lili Build, recruit, train, and lead the maintenance team from the ground up /lili Define work procedures, schedules, and operational standards /lili Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations /lili Oversee maintenance and operation of all course machinery and equipment /lili Manage inventory of materials, chemicals, and maintenance supplies /lili Support budgeting and cost control for maintenance operations /lili Implement sustainable turf management practices aligned with environmental policies /lili Monitor and adopt new technologies and modern agronomic techniques /lili Work closely with the General Manager and management team on course conditions and operational needs /lili Coordinate with golf operations xrdbqlu to ensure optimal playing conditions and player experience /lili Support procurement of machinery, irrigation systems, and agronomic inputs /li /ul pb Key Qualifications: /b /pulli Technical diploma or degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Turfgrass Management, or related field /lili Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role on high-quality golf courses /lili Strong knowledge of turf management, irrigation systems, pest control, and sustainability practices /lili Proven leadership and team management skills with a focus on quality and efficiency /lili Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities /lili Fluency in English; Italian is an advantage /li /ul pb Location: /b /pulli Ragusa /li /ul /p /p
