The business is part of a major global energy group with a long-standing commitment to driving the energy transition and delivering large-scale infrastructure projects across multiple markets.With a significant pipeline of projects in Southern Italy, they are now strengthening their construction function with the appointment of a Construction Senior Specialist to support the delivery of complex utility-scale energy assets.Role OverviewThis role sits within the construction delivery team and will be responsible for overseeing key technical and execution elements across large-scale renewable energy projects. You will act as a key interface between contractors, engineering, procurement, and operations, ensuring delivery is aligned with cost, schedule,
and quality expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage detailed technical execution plans and construction specificationsOversee contractor performance and ensure delivery against defined project milestonesMonitor and analyse project performance across cost, schedule, and quality metricsCoordinate closely with engineering, procurement, and operations teams throughout project deliveryIdentify, manage, and escalate technical and operational risks where requiredSupport continuous improvement initiatives across construction delivery processesRequirementsDegree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (advanced qualifications advantageous)Strong background in construction project execution, ideally within energy or infrastructureSolid understanding of construction contracts, technical standards, and project controlsProven ability to coordinate across multi-disciplinary and international teamsFluent in Italian and EnglishExperience delivering renewable energy or large-scale power generation projects is highly beneficialExposure to large utility or complex multinational environments is advantageous
