Experteer Overview

As Permitting Manager in Rome, you will drive the assessment, permitting and progression of utility‑scale Solar PV and BESS projects across Italy. You work with cross‑functional teams and external partners to accelerate planning, consent and readiness for construction within Elgin’s One Elgin framework. You will apply land, environmental and planning expertise to expand a growing pipeline and secure permitting success. This role offers meaningful impact by shaping development from feasibility to delivery in a fast‑paced renewables business.

- Assess development opportunities for utility‑scale Solar PV and BESS across Italy
- Perform site screening, feasibility and environmental/landscape constraint analysis using GIS and available resources
- Support land acquisition and co‑development through technical due diligence in planning and permitting
- Expand the development pipeline from early screening to planning consent and permitting

Responsabilità




- Significant experience in renewable energy development and permitting in Italy (Solar PV and/or BESS)
- Background in renewable energy, environmental engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, or urban planning
- Bachelor or Master degree in economics, engineering, or related discipline
- Proven ability to coordinate consultants and interact with municipalities and authorities throughout permitting
- Strong xysqume understanding of Italian planning and permitting processes for utility‑scale renewables
- Experience progressing projects through planning and permitting to approvals
- Familiarity with PV facility layouts, environmental constraints and related regulations
- Proven ability to handover consented projects into construction delivery

Requisiti fondamentali
- Annual gross base salary 70,000‑90,000
- Performance‑related premio
