As Automation & Control System Engineer, you will respond to the Head of SMAUT Department and be part of the ENCAR.
Responsibilities
-
- Read, analyze, review and mechanize P&IDs.; Develop and review Block Diagrams, Control Narratives, Sequence Flow Charts, Cause and Effect Diagrams, Logic Diagrams, Instrument Loop Diagrams; populate and maintain Project Control Systems I/Os Databases.
- Properly interpret and apply codes & standards and customer design requirements, for the preparation of Control Systems design products.
- Attend and perform Control Systems FAT/IFAT and SAT and witness the compliance of vendor in meeting the project requirements.
- Interact with Client representatives, Vendors, Subcontractors for technical topics and review Control Systems Vendor Functional Design Specifications/Drawings/Procedures/Manuals to ensure their technical compliance.
- Support the proposal efforts in projects bids preparing man-hour estimates and planning activities for proposals as required.
Qualifications
Education: Master’s Degree in Automation & Control System Engineer or equivalent
Experience:
minimum 5 years as automation engineer within oil & gas, petrochemical, renewable or floaters sectors
Technical/IT Skills
-
- Detailed knowledge, with direct experience with Control and Safety Systems (i.e. DCS, ESD/SIS, F‑G, PLCs, MMS, CCS, RTU, SCADA).
- Familiar with Control and Safety Systems codes and standards both domestic and international.
- SPI (Smart Plant Instrumentation) knowledge.
Travel
You will have the opportunity to travel abroad based on the projects you will work for and within the project assigned.
