In this role you will lead the development of high‑performance sportswear from concept to industrialization, translating creative ideas into technically robust products. You’ll collaborate with Design, Materials, Pattern Making, and Production teams to ensure quality, fit, and brand alignment across global supply partners. You’ll drive innovative construction and material solutions, balancing performance with manufacturability. - Translate concepts into detailed technical specifications ensuring feasibility and sustainability
- Oversee the full development lifecycle from prototype to validation within timelines and budgets
- Lead development of high-performance garments focusing on materials and construction techniques
- Coordinate with pattern makers, suppliers, and manufacturers in Italy and internationally
- Lead fittings and reviews to optimize performance, fit, and quality
- Maintain technical data, BOMs, material specs, and documentation in PLM systems
- Support new materials, finishes, and tech solutions with Design and CMG teams
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders across development stages
- Collaborate with athletes and brand ambassadors to translate feedback into solutions
- Plan and execute product testing with labs and partners and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with brand technical, quality, regulatory, and performance standards
- Organize prototype and technical documentation archives for knowledge base
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and collection excellence xysqume
Responsabilità
- Approximately 10-15 years of experience in high-performance sportswear/technical apparel product development and innovation
- Strong proficiency in PLM systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Fluent in English and Italian
- Excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Strong passion for innovation and emerging technologies, materials, and experimental design
- Proven ability to work within cross-functional teams and manage complex development projects
