Solutions Architect - Lakebase

In this role, you will partner with GTM leadership and Account Executives to shape and drive adoption of the Lakebase product line. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, building credibility and guiding customers through high-impact engagements. You’ll develop workshops and collateral to scale knowledge and thought leadership, helping clients achieve their objectives with Databricks’ data and AI platform. Your work will influence product direction and ensure successful deployment in mission-critical environments, across regions and client segments. - Collaborate with GTM leadership and account teams to design and execute territory engagement plans
- Act as a trusted advisor and solutions architect to drive product adoption and vision
- Develop customer-facing workshops and collateral to increase technical knowledge and thought leadership
- Influence product roadmap by translating field insights into strategic recommendations for Product and Engineering
- Escalate and resolve the most complex technical challenges as the tier-3 point of contact for the field




- Co-plan large territories with Account Executives and coordinate across GTM and R&D; teams
- Collaborate with Global System Integrators and third-party consultants to drive customer outcomes
- Build and present technical demonstrations and assets to support client decision making
- Demonstrate proficiency in SQL and Python and implement solutions across cloud environments
- 6+ years in a customer-facing, pre-sales or consulting role
- Proven ability to co-plan large territories with Account Executives
- Experience with Global System Integrators and third-party consultants
- Proficient in SQL and Python
- Hands-on experience with major public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Broad experience across data engineering, data warehousing, AI/ML, governance, transactional systems, app development, and streaming
- Undergraduate degree (or higher) in a technical field such as Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or Engineering
- Track record of delivering complex projects in fast-paced, customer-facing environments
