Our Technology team has become a strategic pillar of the company, driving platform evolution and ensuring the organization has scalable, robust, and business-oriented technical solutions.You will work in a dynamic, international, and highly results-driven environment, where you will have a direct impact on the company's technology architecture and the growth of engineering talent.Your MissionYour mission is to lead technical excellence and engineering team development, ensuring scalable architectural solutions and guiding engineers toward best development practices.You will be the technical reference of the organization: making strategic architectural decisions, leading by example in code quality, sustainably reducing technical debt, and driving team growth and the company's long-term technological capability.What Will Your Day-to-Day Look Like?Define and evolve the platform's technical architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.Lead and mentor a team of 6–10 engineers distributed across multiple development squads.Establish and uphold code quality standards, review processes, and engineering best practices.Prioritize and manage technical debt strategically, driving refactoring initiatives with measurable impact.Collaborate closely with Product Managers to assess technical feasibility and plan the implementation of new features.Coordinate with the DevOps team on infrastructure strategies, deployment pipelines,
and cloud architecture.Work with QA to define technical testing strategies and quality assurance processes.Evaluate and adopt new tools, frameworks, and technologies that bring value to the team and product.Represent the company in the technical community: conferences, meetups, and open source contributions.Define professional development plans for engineers and actively participate in technical talent assessment.What Are We Looking For?Must-HaveBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.7+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in technical leadership roles.Advanced proficiency in SOLID principles, design patterns, DDD, Hexagonal Architecture, and CQRS.Strong experience with PHP 8+ and frameworks such as Symfony or Slim, as well as modern JavaScript (Angular, VueJS, TypeScript).Background in event-driven architectures, microservices, and distributed systems at scale.Proven track record in engineering team mentoring, code review leadership, and technical standard definition.Experience with infrastructure and scalability tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, RabbitMQ, ElasticSearch.Professional level of English (C1).Nice-to-HaveAdvanced certifications in solutions architecture (AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, Enterprise Architecture).Experience in high-growth environments and technology scaling challenges.Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies applied to technical teams.Experience in database design, optimization, and distributed systems.Active participation in the technical community (conferences, open source, publications).Experience collaborating with Data teams for technical integrations and analytics.Ability to communicate complex technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.Experience defining career development plans and growth paths for engineers.
