You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers. You’ll collaborate across AWS to deliver the highest safety and security standards while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost. Key Job Responsibilities
Shift Work:
The role requires rotating shifts (morning/late/night) and weekends.
Safety:
Follow and maintain the highest safety standards, encourage a world‑class safety culture, and own safety initiatives.
Data Center Operations (DCO):
Diagnose hardware and network problems, perform physical repairs, troubleshoot events within internal SLAs, conduct root‑cause analysis of equipment failures, and manually handle and lift equipment as required. Local travel up to 10% of the time may be needed; a valid EU driving license is required.
Location Requirements
Our data centers are located in remote areas outside Milan, where access via public transport may be limited. Therefore, a valid EU driving license is required for this role.
Work Schedule
This is a 100% onsite, in‑person position due to the hands‑on nature of managing mission‑critical infrastructure.
Salary
Minimum gross annual base salary: 30,100.00 EUR.
Qualifications
IT hardware troubleshooting experience.
Completed formal education/apprenticeship or training in an IT related field.
Good command of English (the working language is English).
Valid Italian driving license.
Availability to work in rotational shifts.
Diploma or equivalent formal qualification in IT.
Basic knowledge of Linux and experience with network protocols in a data center environment.
