Bridgestone and its subsidiaries develop, manufacture and market a wide range of Bridgestone, Firestone and associate brand products and solutions to address the needs of a broad range of customers and industries. /p /brh3About The Role /h3 /brh3Job Purpose /h3 /brpTo support activities assigned with the scope of Roma Plant continuous improvement applied in the Technical Service area with special focus on the processes tire building, tire quality and uniformity. The person should be able to develop and carry out autonomously his activities with supervision from coordinator. /p /brpAble to manage for new products, tire spec evaluation to prevent defects and quality issue with focus on industrialization phase. /p /brpThe final objective is to improve product quality, reduce waste and optimize the machine setup of the Rome plant/advanced workshop through the systematic application of data based methodologies/process improvement evaluations and setup standardization to ensure full compliance with the requirements of BS standards with the ultimate goal of achieving superior quality throughout the value chain. /p /brh3Main Responsibilities /h3 /brul /brliRoadmap implementation /li /brliSupport Roma Plant/Advanced Workshop processes applied in the manufacturing. /li /brliSupport the injection of technical Service capabilities. /li /brliMachine setup optimization /li /brliTire spec verification /li /brliTire building machine follow up. /li /brliTire uniformity improvement /li /brliFollow up of operators training on TS perspective.
/li /brliDaily activities regarding TS activities /li /brliTechnical Service support to new process /li /brliTo join cross functional teams for tire spec features at the early product design phase /li /brliDevelop measurement technologies, control strategies, information systems, and methods that achieve ambitious target. /li /brliDevelop and implement inspection tools/methods to evaluate tire quality. /li /brliProblem solving based on data analysis/product verification; provide guidance to determine root cause and recommend potential solutions. /li /brliInterface with internal and external groups to ensure that proper definition of expectations and that appropriate assurance techniques. /li /brliCoach and ensure Technical Service mindset awareness is built in the Team. /li /brliRisk reduction, Continuous Improvement /li /brliPerform root cause analysis of TS issues using advanced problem-solving tools. /li /brliRecommend and implement simple cost-effective permanent corrective actions. Promote horizontal extension. /li /brliReinforce TS systems to identify and reduce risks of tire defects and assure compliance to all requirements. /li /brliTimely issuing and/or updating relevant Operative Procedure /li /brliPeriodical reporting on activities status to management /li /br /ul /brh3Education and capabilities /h3 /brh3Education /h3 /brul /brliDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology or equivalent technology degree. /li /br /ul /brpJob Experience /p /brpDesiderable tech service in tire industry or equivalent position in manufacturing industry /p /brh3Capabilities /h3 /brpBelow competences/skills will be mandatory: /p /brul /brliTire design /li /brliProject Management /li /brliProblem solving /li /brliQuality tools for problem solving (5Why, 8D, Fishbone, etc.) /li /brliKnowledge on Tire technology / tire manufacturing process /li /br /ul /brpOne or more of below competences/skills will be a plus: /p /brul /brli6 SIGMA /li /brliTire advanced technical Knowledge (Tire Features, Performances and Mechanics) /li /brliData analysis /li /brliISO/TS 16949-IATF-VDA 6.3 core tools (FMEA,
