As Smart Process Automation Project Leader you drive AI-driven automation initiatives across groups, collaborating with business structures to design and deploy AI solutions that automate end-to-end processes. You lead project setup, business case development, and the technical and architectural design with data scientists, automation engineers, and IT architects. You coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and manage budgets and external partners to deliver measurable improvements. This role sits within Generali’s Group Advanced Analytics and Automation Solutions Unit, accelerating the Group’s digitization strategy through central analytics services.

Define target areas and build a pipeline of high-potential initiatives
Lead project setup, analyze as-is processes, build business cases, design target solutions and iterate during testing
Oversee end-to-end implementation, prioritization, budgeting, and management of internal/external providers and interfaces




Coordinate development from algorithmic/logical design to architecture and deployment with Data Scientists, Automation Engineers, and IT Architects
Engage regularly with business units and management to align on projects and outcomes
Responsabilità

Strong problem-solving, creative thinking, and determination
Excellent analytical and deductive abilities; experience with algorithm design/evaluation
1–5 years in consulting or industry, managing intelligent automation, AI, xysqume digital transformation, or operational excellence projects
Experience in process mapping and process redesign
Degree in scientific disciplines (mathematics, computer science, engineering, economics, physics)
Excellent knowledge of Office package, particularly Excel
Good written and spoken English (B2)
Team-oriented, autonomous, proactive, committed with results orientation
Strong communication skills across organizational levels
Basic knowledge of IT architecture
