About The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for freelance/contract work in La Spezia, Italy. This is an on-site position supporting mission‑critical infrastructure at premier data center facilities.Compensation€20-28/hr (EUR hourly). Rates vary based on experience level and project complexity. and labelingPerform cross‑connects and patch panel workTroubleshoot connectivity and hardware issuesDocument all work with photos and detailed notesCoordinate with remote NOC and client teams2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experienceStrong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single‑mode/multi‑mode fiber)Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro)Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in raised floor environmentsOwn transportation and ability to work on‑siteProfessional communication skills in EnglishData center certifications (CDCP, CDCS, or similar) - preferredNetwork certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+) - preferredExperience with DCIM and ticketing systems - preferredFamiliarity with major colocation providers - preferredStandard tools: screwdrivers, cable testers, label makers, fiber inspection equipment#J-18808-Ljbffr
