Job Title and Location B1 / B1+B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer – Italy (Rome / Flexible Base)Role Summary We are seeking experienced B1 or B1/B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineers to join a leading aviation maintenance organisation in Italy. You will support line and/or base maintenance across a modern Airbus and Boeing fleet, ensuring high standards of safety, compliance, and operational performance.Key ResponsibilitiesCertify scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activitiesPerform troubleshooting and defect rectificationCarry out line and/or base maintenance tasksEnsure compliance with EASA Part-145 regulationsComplete accurate maintenance records and technical documentationSupport AOG recovery and aircraft-on-ground situationsMaintain high standards of safety, quality,



and regulatory complianceRequired QualificationsValid EASA Part-66 B1 or B1/B2 LicenceMinimum two aircraft type ratings (e.G. A220, A320 Family, A350, B787)Recent certifying experience on commercial aircraftStrong knowledge of EASA Part-145 requirementsGood level of EnglishPreferred QualificationsCombined B1/B2 licence privilegesExperience in both line and base maintenanceMultiple active type approvalsPrevious airline maintenance experienceFlexibility for shift work, including nightsPermanent opportunity offering a salary circa €60,000 (DOE), flexible base across Italy (Rome preferred), shift patterns, and potential support with accommodation and travel while working on both narrowbody and widebody aircraft.
