ppThe successful candidate will join the company "Product Business Unit" and oversee the technical design, development, and testing of company's software solutions. Additionally, they will manage project planning, execution, and delivery coordinating teams, managing resources, and ensuring goals are achieved on time and within budget. /p pLeading IT company in the Ferry industrial sector, is seeking a manager for its Product Development. /p pThe Dev Manager is an experienced software development professional with a strong passion for technology and a proven track record. The ideal candidate has progressed from roles such as programmer or software architect and has managed teams involved in the full software development lifecycle for enterprise-class software products delivered as standard packages. /p pReporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, the primary responsibility will be to drive the system development of company's software enhancements. This includes supporting platform implementations aligned with the company product roadmap, overseeing customer implementations, and developing change requests to ensure harmony within the standard products. /p pKey responsibilities include analysing customer solutions, performing impact assessments for software changes, resource planning for developers and testers, and coordinating the implementation of changes and fixes with others Business Unit leads. /p h3Job Duties /h3 ul liPlanning and coordinating software releases with relevant stakeholders. /li liEstablishing development timelines and milestones in accordance with the "Companys' Platform Roadmap".
/li liMonitoring implementation progress to ensure timely completion. /li liEffectively allocating resources by assigning and supervising developers based on skills, motivation, and priorities. /li liLeading and mentoring development teams, providing technical leadership through coaching, mentorship, and regular 1:1 meeting. /li liIdentifying growth opportunities within the team. /li liLeading performance evaluations and contributing to recruitment through technical interviews. /li liEnsuring cost-effective development practices, monitoring expenses, and maintaining adherence to budget. /li liPromoting a cost-efficient approach by minimizing unnecessary development effort without compromising quality. /li liEnforcing coding standards and practices. /li liIdentifying and mitigating potential risks. /li liEnsuring comprehensive documentation throughout all development phases and maintaining technical documentation. /li liMonitoring build, test activities, resource utilization, and resolving escalated issues. /li liUpholding high quality standards and adhering to DevOps practices and tools. /li liCollaborating with Architects and Engineers to improve efficiency and quality.
/li liProducing clear and comprehensive release notes for each software version. /li liFostering a collaborative and productive team environment. /li liEnsuring effective communication within the team and with other BU leads /li liConducting performance reviews and providing feedback to the BU Director. /li liOver 10 years of experience managing software development teams, preferably in international projects. /li liAt least 5 years of hands-on programming experience in Java. /li liProficiency in Java, Angular, Vaadin, SQL, Spring, Hibernate, RESTful Services, XML, Web Services (JAX-WS), HTML5 CSS3, .NET, Oracle DB, MySQL, Tomcat, IntelliJ, Linux, Windows, Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, Ansible, and DevOps tools. /li liProven ability to deliver Java-based software products for diverse clients. /li liStrong knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile, V-Model, and Test-Driven Development. /li liExperience with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence for planning, reporting, and scope management. /li liAbility to review code and provide technical guidance. /li liProfessionalism and flexibility to adapt quickly to changing requirements. /li liExcellent English oral and written communication skills. /li liStrong team leadership and mentorship skills for guiding, motivating, and developing team members. /li liExperience with requirements management, configuration management, bug tracking, and monitoring/help desk procedures is highly valued. /li liMaster's degree in Computer Engineering or an equivalent field. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
