Project Engineer – Automotive Body Development

We are currently looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join a long-term vehicle development project focused on Body Engineering and Exterior Systems.As Senior Project Engineer, you will coordinate the technical development of Body components, leading a dedicated Design Engineering team throughout feasibility, concept development and industrialization.You will act as the technical interface between engineering, suppliers and cross-functional departments, ensuring that project objectives are achieved in terms of quality, cost and timing.ResponsibilitiesLead a dedicated Design Engineering team.Coordinate feasibility studies and technical development activities.Manage supplier technical activities and engineering alignment.Organize and lead technical review meetings.Coordinate Front,



Side and Rear Body development.Create and maintain Technical Specifications.Develop and maintain DFMEA documentation.Manage System and Component DVP activities.Coordinate Engineering Releases and Change Management.Maintain Engineering BOM in SAP.Monitor project timing and engineering deliverables.Support prototype builds and vehicle launch activities.Prepare weekly project status reports and technical documentation.Drive issue resolution throughout the development process.RequirementsDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or equivalent.Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive product development.Proven experience in:BIW (Body in White)Vehicle StructuresExterior TrimPlatform LayoutExperience leading engineering teams.Experience working with automotive suppliers.Strong understanding of complete vehicle development processes.Fluent English (minimum B2).Preferred Technical SkillsDFMEADVPSAPPLM / VPMEngineering BOMTechnical SpecificationsChange ManagementProduct DevelopmentSupplier ManagementCost ManagementTechnical DocumentationSoft SkillsLeadershipExcellent communication skillsTeam managementProblem solvingAssertivenessConflict managementAttention to detailTime managementFlexibilityProactive attitudeStart of activity foreseen August 2026
