ELECTRICAL ENGINEER – MILAN (OIL & GAS)

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking to work on high-impact, large-scale energy projects? We’re partnering with a leading global engineering consultancy delivering major projects across the oil & gas sector. Due to continued growth, they are looking to bring on board a skilled Electrical Engineer to support complex projects in Milan.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Reviewing and approving electrical power distribution designs (LV, MV, HV)
- Working with single-line diagrams, load lists, cable schedules, and layouts
- Supporting equipment selection (transformers, switchgear, UPS, MCCs, motors)
- Carrying out system studies (load flow, short circuit, arc flash, protection coordination)
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, and construction
- Supporting installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
- Participating in FAT & SAT activities




- Assisting with maintenance strategies and root cause analysis

What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar)
- 5+ years’ experience within oil & gas or similar industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems design and industry standards (IEC, NEC, IEEE, etc.)
- Experience with tools such as ETAP, SKM, xysqume or DigSILENT
- Understanding of hazardous area classifications (ATEX)
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Authorized to work in Milan, Italy
