Experteer Overview
As a Regional Account Manager, you will drive cybersecurity transformation for public sector accounts in Northern Italy, focusing on Energy, Transportation & Utilities. You’ll build executive relationships, coordinate multi-functional teams for proposals, and promote Fortinet’s security-first solutions. You will work with public administration and ETU clients to grow adoption, ensure compliance with Italian/European regulations, and maintain a healthy pipeline. This is a strategic, customer-facing role with a strong impact on regional security outcomes.

- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve/exceed sales targets
- Drive adoption of Fortinet products and services across public sector accounts
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with decision makers and influencers
- Coordinate internal teams to deliver proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and SOWs
- Promote cybersecurity awareness aligned with Italian and European regulations
- Serve as lead contact for information flow to/from executive management
- Maximize Fortinet opportunities by delivering value-added solutions
- Maintain accurate pipeline and sales forecast
- Collaborate with partner channel managers, technical sales engineers, and consulting professionals
- Travel within Northern Italy as required
Responsabilità
- Proven experience in technology sales, ideally cybersecurity or networking
- Proven success selling to public administration customers, including energy/transport/utilities or critical infrastructure
- Strong knowledge xysqume of IT security technologies (firewalls, VPNs, antivirus, IDS/IPS)
- Track record of quota achievement and career stability
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Goal-oriented mindset with strong business acumen and leadership capabilities
- Based in Northern Italy with ability to travel across the region
