The Opportunity Due to an increase in power generation projects globally, we are now recruiting for an experienced Plant Technician for an immediate start in Italy. Working with an experienced team, the Technician will be responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance and operations of a CHP which includes a gas turbine, steam turbine and all the relevant supporting systems, on a rotating shift pattern. Key Responsibilities Performing day-to-day operations of the plant with a focus on basic mechanical maintenance and basic electrical testing and isolation tasks. Conducting regular inspections, plant walkdowns, and condition monitoring of turbines and supporting systems.



Maintaining accurate logs and records of all operations and maintenance activities which includes incidents and equipment performance in accordance with OEM standards. Providing input into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring maintenance records are kept up to date. Reporting deviations or potential issues and assisting in troubleshooting. Supporting the plant's continuous improvement efforts by identifying and implementing operational efficiencies. Role Requirements Previous experience operating and/or maintaining a CHP or working in a similar plant environment. Hands‐on experience in plant operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Good communication skills. Strong problem‐solving skills and troubleshooting experience and capabilities.
