Call for Applications No. 331.6 RIC NANOTEC Position: Researcher in Physics – Polaritons and Neural Networks Location: Italy Contract: 12‐month fixed‐term, full time (36 h per week) Application Deadline: 8 Aug 2026 18:00 UTC Requirements Master's Degree in Physics (LM-17), Mathematical‐Physical Modeling for Engineering (LM-44), or Nanotechnology Engineering (LM-53), or the corresponding 'laurea specialistica' degrees, or the equivalent 'Diploma di Laurea' considered equivalent under relevant Italian regulations.



At least three years of experience in the field of polaritons and in the experimental and/or theoretical study of neural networks, or possession of a PhD relevant to the required experience. Knowledge of English, good level; basic computer skills (to be assessed during the interview).
