Role & Responsibilities As a Database Administrator in Kyndryl Italia Innovation Services' Database Administration team, you will design, manage, and secure the databases that power our business. Database Management: Install, configure, and maintain DBMS across multiple environments to ensure high availability and performance. Security & Access Control: Manage user access and implement stringent security protocols to safeguard sensitive data. Disaster Recovery: Design and maintain comprehensive backup and recovery strategies to mitigate risk and ensure data integrity. Support & Troubleshooting: Provide expert‐level support to end users and application developers, diagnosing and resolving complex database‐related issues.



Performance Optimization: Monitor and fine‐tune systems for optimal efficiency, applying proactive solutions to minimize downtime and maximize throughput. Capacity Planning: Conduct usage analysis and growth forecasting to ensure scalability in line with business needs. Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce standards, procedures, and best practices for database management and data protection. Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with cross‐functional teams to align database initiatives with broader organizational objectives. Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement improvements to increase system resilience, reliability, and performance.
