Experteer Overview In this role you will own the software solution architecture for SAP, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and delivering high-quality IS services. You will design and build SAP solutions, maintain integrity and support the deployment of cross-functional processes. You'll promote new technologies and drive innovative design alongside a global team. This position supports ABB's SAP S/4HANA transformation and broader IT goals, offering a hands‐on, impact‐driven opportunity.

Maintain integrity and quality of SAP solutions and IS services
Create and maintain technical/architectural documentation
Perform internal testing and support user testing
Promote new technologies and innovative solution design approaches
Support installation, management, maintenance, and optimization of IS solutions
Assist in incident and problem resolution during technical verificationUnderstand business processes at a high level and provide expert advice




Guide and monitor task completion; share expertise without direct line responsibility
Coordinate with SAP consultants and application SMEs on integration solutions
Responsabilità Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar
≥3 years experience as SAP Solution Architect and ABAP developer
Strong SAP ABAP expertise including OO; familiarity with RAP, CAP is a plus
Experience in SAP integrations (IDOCs, BAPI, APIs, web services) and basic SAP modules (SD, MM, WM, PP)
Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA; migration projects; familiarity with SAP BTP and clean core principles (nice to have)
Strong communication and collaboration; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Proactive, analytical mindset; curiosity for new technologies; problem-solving; adaptable under pressure
Italian and English proficiency (written and spoken)
Willingness to travel occasionally within Italy and Europe
