Eurowind Energy is a Danish limited liability company, which over the years has become a leading developer and operator of wind turbine and photovoltaic projects. The company has over 2 GW of operating assets under management in 16 countries across Europe and has been increasing its presence throughout the European market, including Italy. We are currently looking for a Senior Project Engineer to support us in delivering our project initiatives in the Italian market. This job offers you the possibility of being the primary point of contact for technical matters related to development of renewable energy projects (Wind, PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems, P2 X) in Italy, while working on a fast growth "scaleup environment" backed by a large international group. Primary responsibilities Based in Milan, the Senior Project Engineer will fit in a matrix structure, reporting functionally and hierarchically to the Head of Development/Country Manager (Italy). The Project Engineer plays a pivotal role in the development and execution of renewable energy projects,
with particular reference to onshore wind, PV, BESS and P2 X. This position will support origination managers, project managers and construction managers throughout the lifecycle of the project, from feasibility and design to Rt B and construction. Project Development Site & constraints analysis; Permitting design and preparation of relevant documentation; Liaison with statutory stakeholders where relevant (e.g. technical matters, portals etc); Project Engineering support aimed to achieving permitting for viable projects, efficiently; Managing specific work packages in support to the development team. Liaise and work closely with Eurowind Energy Wind, PV and BESS competence centers in layout design and optimization for energy yield, cost efficiency and permitting.
