Client Development and Partnerships Manager
In this growth‐focused role, you will drive client acquisition and revenue for Sotheby's Italy across multiple categories. You'll combine client development, project leadership, and event‐driven strategies to deepen relationships and unlock new opportunities. You will collaborate with senior leaders to execute a regional growth plan, using data‐driven insights and partnerships to expand the Italian client base. This position offers exposure to high‐touch luxury markets and the chance to shape cross‐category initiatives within a global brand.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute regional growth strategy and client development for Italy across cross‐category priorities
Utilize internal client databases to activate under‐utilized opportunities and support proactive outreach
Support sourcing and Private Selling Exhibitions through targeted client engagement in collaboration with Senior Specialists
Design and manage client‐driven events and experiences aimed at Private Sales, new client acquisition, and cross‐category opportunities




Drive Palazzo Serbelloni activation beyond auctions and support its lease renewal as part of growth strategy
Identify and implement non‐auction initiatives for incremental revenue, including gallery activities outside auction season
Build and expand strategic partnerships aligned with Italy's growth objectives
Leverage fairs for local presence, sourcing, and client cultivation
Develop programs to engage next‐gen buyers and emerging collectors
Exploit client data to identify new segments and align with global strategy
Coordinate local marketing execution and ensure campaigns support growth objectives
Track KPIs such as new client acquisition, reactivation, Private Sales contribution, and non‐auction revenue
Qualifications
6+ years in revenue growth, client development, and project leadership in art/luxury environments
Bachelor's Degree in Art or equivalent experience
Excellent organizational and detai
