Description
As a Program Manager in the Alexa AI team, you will own and drive cross‐functional programs that connect machine learning research to customer‐facing product delivery. You'll manage the end‐to‐end lifecycle of initiatives spanning science and engineering teams, shipping features and improvements that transform customer experiences across languages, modalities, and devices.
You'll join a team of Program Managers and Technical Program Managers supporting multiple AI/ML initiatives. In this high‐impact role, you'll define program requirements, drive execution across distributed teams, and own communication of progress and risks to senior leadership. You'll operate in a technically rich environment – partnering daily with software engineers, applied scientists, and technical leaders – making this ideal for someone who combines strong program management fundamentals with genuine curiosity about how technology systems work.
Key job responsibilities
Own programs end‐to‐end – defining requirements, driving milestones, clearing blockers,



and delivering results aligned with organizational goals. Partner directly with science and engineering teams to scope efforts, set priorities, and drive delivery of cross‐functional projects that span multiple organizations.
Navigate ambiguity and make trade‐offs considering customer experience, quality, cost, and timeline to achieve success.
Drive program communications at all levels – writing narratives and strategic documentation to secure resources and alignment, while keeping Sr. Managers and Directors informed on status, risks, and escalations.
Define and track success metrics (KPIs) to measure program health and customer impact, using data to tell the story of progress and inform decisions.
Apply process improvement methodologies (Agile, Lean, Kaizen) to accelerate delivery and eliminate waste. Proactively identify risks and drive mitigation plans before they become roadblocks, ensuring programs maintain momentum even in
