Salary: €51,200 - €70,400 – Location: Treviso, Italy.
Scope of Position Safety Engineering role supporting Applied Materials' R&D; and manufacturing operations.
Work closely with site management in R&D; and manufacturing and other EHS staff to drive Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) programs, ensure regulatory compliance and promote continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with required EHS codes, standards and regulations.
Act as a liaison with local, regional or national regulatory authorities.
Provide EHS training to employees and management.
Ensure proper investigations of EHS incidents and drive corrective actions to closure.
Provide management with updates and escalation on projects/programs.
Maintain communication channels with site/location functions.
Interface with internal stakeholders regarding EHS aspects and work with cross‐functional teams to accomplish goals and objectives.
Manage consultants/contractors supporting the EHS programs, including development of scopes of work, project management and budget management.




Ensure all work is assigned appropriately and that results are obtained and evaluated.
Travel: Yes, 20% of the time.
Employment type: Tempo pieno.
Qualifications Bachelor or master's degree in electrical, mechanical or electronics engineering or a comparable field.
Utility Certificate as occupational safety engineer (RSPP) is required.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in an EHS function in a comparable industry (R&D; manufacturing operations).
Knowledge of EHS legislation and implementation in Italy.
Experience with general EHS auditing to identify opportunities for improvement and provide suitable recommendations for corrective actions.
Good knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Readiness for occasional travelling from time to time.
Excellent Italian and English language skills.
