Field Market Access Manager - Ostomy Care

In this role you will develop and drive the local market access strategy for Ostomy Care in Italy, leading a small team to secure access, reimbursement, and pricing. You will build relationships with payers, institutions, and KOLs, coordinating with global and local teams to maximize market penetration and revenue growth. The position combines scientific insight with business strategy to strengthen Convatec’s brand and product usage. A key hook is shaping value-based discussions and evidence generation to support market access at national and regional levels.

Develop and implement the market access strategy for Ostomy Care BU in Italy at local, regional, and national levels
Manage institutional affairs to strengthen relationships with key institutional players
Lead a value communication plan and execute projects including real-world evidence and pharmaco-economical analyses
Engage KOLs through educational events, discussions, and advisory boards to build advocacy
Design and implement clinical training to position Convatec as a reference in ostomy care
Monitor market access and health policy trends, translating them into strategic actions
Collaborate with Sales Regional Manager and Product Specialist to identify regional stakeholders and opportunities
Shape local reimbursement and tender landscapes and ensure market readiness
Lead and support tenders at regional and xysqume local levels
Participate in cross-functional teams to translate business inputs into Market Access activities
Proven experience in market access, business development, institutional affairs and/or health economics
Solid understanding of MA processes and payer strategies in Italy
Strong analytical mindset
Excellent teamwork and stakeholder networking abilities
Delivery-oriented with urgency on time-sensitive issues
Ability to navigate a matrix organization and drive results
