Key Job Responsibilities
SHIFT WORK: Some roles within this organization are shift-based.
Readiness and availability to work rotating shifts is required.
SAFETY: Follow and maintain the highest safety standards and diligently encourage a world-class safety culture.
Own safety initiatives and projects to foster a strong safety culture.
DATA CENTER OPERATIONS (DCO):Diagnose hardware and network problems followed by physical repairs.
Troubleshoot events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures.
Manual handling and lifting of equipment may be required (weight limits in accordance with regulations).
Work rotating shifts (morning/late/night) and weekends to maintain a 24/7 data center environment.
Local travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
A valid Italian driving license is required as Data Centers may not have any public transportation available nearby.
Work Schedule:
This is a 100% onsite in?person position due to the hands?on nature of managing mission?critical infrastructure.
Location Requirements: Our data centers are located in remote areas outside Milan, where access via public transport may be limited.
Therefore, a valid EU driving license is required for this role.
Compensation and Benefits
The minimum gross annual base salary for this position is 30,****** EUR.
Additional pay components may apply where applicable.
Benefits include statutory benefits, those applicable to the relevant collective agreement, and company supplementary benefits subject to further terms.
Basic Qualifications
IT hardware troubleshooting related experience.
Completed formal education/apprenticeship or training in an IT related field.
Good command of English, as it's an international environment.
All job interaction and recruitment process will be in English.
Valid Italian driving license.
Availability to work in rotational shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
Diploma or equivalent formal qualification in an IT related field.
Basic knowledge of Linux and experience with network protocols in a data center.
