Experteer Overview
As a Software Engineer at Kong, you will help build and maintain high-performance API connectivity software, including the Kong Gateway Operator and Kong Ingress Controller.
You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver features that scale across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.
You'll contribute to design decisions, write well-tested Go code, and engage with the open-source community.

Develop and maintain Kong Gateway Operator and Ingress Controller to ensure reliability and performance

Responsabilità
1-2+ years of professional software engineering experience
Proficiency in Golang (or strong proficiency in C/C++/Java/Python with willingness to learn Go)
Familiarity with Kubernetes architecture and concepts (Pods, Deployments, Services, CRDs)
Ability to deliver routine work with general instructions and handle new projects with detailed guidance
Experience writing unit and integration tests
Strong learning mindset, self-awareness, and growth-drive
Good communication and collaboration in a distributed, remote-first team
