Job Description:
CROWN Packaging Manufacturing
Italy S.r.l. is seeking an
experienced Production Planner
to optimize production schedules, material flow, and inventory levels for our manufacturing operations.
This role is crucial in ensuring efficient and timely delivery of our packaging products.
Job Responsibilities:
* Develop, maintain, and execute complex production schedules in alignment with sales forecasts, customer orders, and plant capacity.
* Analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and reduce lead times.
* Manage raw material and finished goods inventory levels to minimize obsolescence and maximize availability, utilizing advanced planning systems.
* Collaborate closely with sales, procurement, production, and logistics departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
* Lead efforts in demand planning and forecasting, incorporating market trends and historical data.
* Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to planning accuracy, on-time delivery, and inventory turns.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization and system enhancements.
* Mentor and support junior planners, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.




Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning, supply chain planning, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
* Proven experience with advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP) is essential.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* Fluency in Italian and English is required.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing setting.
We offer a
permanent employment contract
with a
gross annual salary (RAL) ranging from €35,000 to €45,000
, depending on the candidate's professional experience and qualifications.
