Glacier Italia is looking for an experienced Industrial Controller to join its Finance team and support the performance management of its manufacturing operations across multiple sites.
The ideal candidate has a degree in Economics, Finance, Management Engineering or a related field, and at least 7 years of experience in industrial controlling within complex manufacturing environments, preferably in the FMCG or food industry.
This role offers strong exposure to plant operations, senior management and cross-functional teams, contributing directly to industrial performance analysis, decision-making and business improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

- Supporting the monthly management closing process, including analysis by plant, cost center, production line and product category;
- Monitoring and analyzing industrial performance across multiple sites, identifying key drivers of variances and operational inefficiencies;
- Overseeing inventory valuation, stock movements, warehouse valuation methodologies and related controlling activities;
- Performing financial analysis of production variances, waste, yields, process losses, labor and overhead absorption and capacity utilization;

- Developing, maintaining and harmonizing industrial KPIs and reporting dashboards across plants;
- Preparing management and plant-level reporting for operational leadership and senior management;
- Leading budgeting and forecasting activities for the relevant industrial areas;
- Supporting product costing activities, including standard cost definition, cost updates and variance analysis;
- Supporting the migration to the new ERP system, JDE, and contributing to the implementation of a new product costing methodology;
- Partnering with Operations, Supply Chain and Plant Management to identify critical areas,
recommend corrective actions and support continuous improvement initiatives;
- Providing ad hoc analysis to support strategic and operational decisions, including efficiency projects, capex evaluation and profitability improvement.
Qualifications & Skills

- Degree in Economics, Finance, Management Engineering or a related discipline;
- At least 7 years of experience in industrial controlling, preferably within complex manufacturing organizations;
- Previous experience in the FMCG or food industry would be a strong advantage;
- Solid knowledge of product costing, standard costing methodologies and industrial variance analysis;
- Proven experience with ERP systems; knowledge of JDE would be a strong plus;
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint;
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools, preferably Microsoft Power BI, would be considered a plus;
- Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
