We are looking for a Data Platform & Analytics Engineer to strengthen the Grant Management and Digital Transformation area, supporting the evolution of the vertical ERP for Grant Management, the Data Lake / Lakehouse ecosystem, reporting capabilities, system integrations and initiatives related to Artificial Intelligence.

The Role

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design, develop and iterate on data products, integrations and analytics solutions that support Grant Management processes, Peer Review activities, operational reporting and strategic decision-making.

The role combines data engineering, analytics engineering, functional analysis and stakeholder collaboration. You will help translate business and operational requirements into scalable data solutions, improving data quality, automation, interoperability and usability across platforms.

A key aspect of this role is supporting the organisation’s transition toward a more mature data-driven operating model. You will contribute to the evolution of the Data Lake / Lakehouse, the design of dashboards and semantic models, and the identification of concrete AI and Generative AI use cases for data, reporting and operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, build and maintain robust data pipelines, ETL / ELT processes and integrations across the Grant Management System, enterprise applications, Data Lake / Lakehouse platforms and Business Intelligence tools

• Support the evolution of the Grant Management platform by contributing to workflows, reporting, data quality controls and functional enhancements

• Develop dashboards, advanced reports and reusable data models supporting Grant Management, Peer Review, operational monitoring and internal decision-making

• Define and implement data quality monitoring, controls, documentation and governance practices to improve reliability, transparency and traceability of information

• Automate recurring operational activities through scripts, APIs or workflow automation tools, reducing manual workload and improving process repeatability

• Collaborate with users, internal teams and external vendors to collect requirements, troubleshoot issues and deliver sustainable technical solutions

• Support AI and Generative AI initiatives by identifying practical use cases, preparing reliable data foundations and contributing to prototyping or evaluation activities

• Maintain high quality standards through documentation, structured change management, peer reviews and knowledge-sharing practices

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Master’s degree in Economics, Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems or a related field. A degree with an economics or management focus is considered a primary requirement.

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Data Platform Engineer, Analytics Engineer, Business Intelligence Specialist or similar role

• Strong proficiency in SQL and solid understanding of data modelling, data warehouse, Data Lake and Lakehouse concepts

• Experience designing, building and maintaining ETL / ELT pipelines,



data flows and integrations between enterprise applications and data platforms

• Experience with modern data platforms and cloud-based data ecosystems, preferably Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, AWS or Google Cloud

• Experience developing dashboards, reports or semantic models with Power BI, Tableau or similar analytics platforms

• Knowledge of data quality, data governance, metadata management, traceability and monitoring practices

• Good scripting or development skills, preferably Python and Java Script, for automation, integrations and application support

• Experience designing or consuming REST APIs and integrating third-party or enterprise services

• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders and external partners

Nice to Have

• Experience with Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI solutions applied to data, reporting or operational processes

• Experience with workflow automation, data integration tools or low-code / no-code platforms

• Experience working with Grant Management platforms, peer review workflows, vertical ERP platforms for Grant Management or comparable enterprise applications

• Experience with CI/CD practices, code versioning, testing and structured release management in a data or analytics context

• Experience leading small initiatives, coordinating technical activities or mentoring colleagues

• Experience working in consulting, enterprise transformation or dynamic multidisciplinary environments
