Experteer Overview
In this role, you will drive cost estimation, control, and planning within the Procurement team to keep products competitive.
You will collaborate with R&D; and CM to guide cost reduction initiatives and standardize cost processes.
You'll own cost tables, should-cost analyses, and RFQ inputs, influencing decisions across departments.
This role sits at the intersection of cost science and product development, shaping value-driven outcomes for the business.
Retribuzione / Benefits
Contribute to target cost definition
Lead technical cost reduction activities in collaboration with R&D; and CM
Prepare cost planning and align it with targets
Assign and monitor Value Analysis actions with R&D;/CM/SE
Create RFQ standard formats for input to cost tables
Build and maintain Cost Tables for Should Cost Analysis
Drive Teardown Cost Analysis for competitor BOM costs
Responsabilità
Degree in Engineering (technological focus)
Fluent English (written and spoken)
3–5 years in Cost Engineering or in R&D; as a mechanical designer
