And while we are a truly global organization, we remain deeply rooted in the communities in which we operate and where our colleagues live and work.With industrial operations in nearly 30 countries, Stellantis could consistently exceed the evolving needs and expectations of consumers in more than 130 markets, while creating superior value for all stakeholders.Job OverviewElectric Drive Modules (EDM / eAxles) are x?in?1 propulsion systems used in BEV and HEV/PHEV architectures, integrating electric motor, gearbox and power electronics.The EDM Design Release Engineer is responsible for EDM system development and design release from concept to production, ensuring subsystem integration and alignment with global platforms and multi?brand applications.ResponsibilitiesLead EDM design, development and release, including gearbox, motor integration and system architectureCollaborate with cross-functional teams (CAE, NVH, durability, vehicle dynamics, power electronics, transmission, manufacturing) to ensure system performance, integration and durabilityDefine and manage DFMEA, DVP and system specifications (SSTS/TTS)Drive system optimization (efficiency, weight, cost, manufacturability)Lead system-level problem solving and root cause analysisManage suppliers,



CDRs and design approvals for EDM and subsystemsLead technical reviews and report system status to managementBenchmark EDM architectures and drive competitive solutionsEnsure standardization and scalability of the components across global platforms and brandsAct as PRC focal point ensuring alignment between global engineering, local industrialization, and platform scalability targetsRequirementsBachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or a closely related engineering degree.0 -3 years of experience.Experience in product development and industrialization of automotive powertrain componentsSelf-starter with strong leadership, communication skills, and demonstrated problem solving abilityExperience with DFMEA and DVP&R; processesUnderstanding of GD&T;, manufacturing and quality processesStrong problem solving, communication and teamwork skillsBasic knowledge of project managementPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics EngineeringExperience in EDM / electric motors and gearbox developmentKnowledge of FEA simulation tools (Maxwell, MotorCAD, KISSsoft or equivalent)Knowledge of electrified powertrain systems and power electronics, controls of electric drive systemsExperience with PLM systems (Teamcenter / ENOVIA)DFSS Green / Black Belt certificationOfferSalary range: from ******€ to ****** €, that will be defined depending on the level of adherence of the candidate to the job requirementsCollective Agreement: In accordance with the provisions of the Specific Collective Labour Agreement (CCSL – CNEL code: CO10), and in particular with regard to the classification within the third professional area.At Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit and business needs.
