Job Title: Telco Cloud Consultant (Java Developer)Location: Milan, Lombardy, ItalyEmployment Type: Permanent, Full?TimeRole SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and motivated Java Developer with experience in Telco Cloud environments to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable, high-performance applications and working closely with cross-functional teams in an agile setup.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Java-based applications in a cloud/telco environment.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and production issues.Ensure high levels of performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends,
especially in Telco Cloud.Required Skills & QualificationsStrong experience in Java development (Java 8 or above).Experience with frameworks such as Spring / Spring Boot / Microservices architecture.Exposure to Telco Cloud technologies (e.G., NFV, SDN, Kubernetes, OpenStack).Familiarity with REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Good problem-solving and debugging skills.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.Nice to HaveExperience in telecom domain (OSS/BSS).Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).About HCLTechHCLTech is a global technology company with over 226,000 employees across 60 countries.
