ppbApplications Engineer - Construction Machinery Performance Development /b /p pbSalary: Up to €90,000 + benefits /b /p pbLocation: /b This role is based bon site in Bologna, Italy /b, it will require some travel to customer sites and RD centres.
/p pbLanguage: /b The prime language required in the workplace is English.
/p pThis role would suit an engineer with solid understanding of bexcavator or wheeled loader performance /b.
It involves understanding how different attachments affect machine performance.
It also involves providing input to design to optimise and enhance machines to meet customer requirements and specifications.
/p pbNote: /b Proven relevant engineering experience applied directly to excavator or wheeled loader machines is essential for this position.
/p h3The role: Applications Engineer – Machine Performance /h3 ul liApplications engineer focused on bmachine optimisation and development /b /li liRequires understanding of machine performance testing and validation /li liInvolves bworking with customers and engineering teams /b to develop and enhance products /li liSolid bexperience of excavators or wheeled loaders /b is essential /li /ul pThe purpose of this role is to work with test and validation (TV) teams to understand the performance of excavators or wheeled loaders when using different attachments.
The results from the performance tests are captured and analysed and compared to customer specifications and product requirements.




/p pThe applications engineer will work with design and development teams to benhance and optimise machine designs /b to improve their versatility and meet requirements.
/p h3Typical involvements /h3 ul liReview new machine attachment enquiries, identify key technical criteria and develop optimised product solutions utilising design, test and machine performance teams /li liWork with clients and engineering teams to develop product solutions including hydraulic interfaces, mounting brackets, controls, installation guides etc.
/li liVisit customers to survey product application performance and identify new opportunities /li liTechnically support bids, understand emerging technologies and benchmark competitors.
/li /ul h3Skills / Knowledge /h3 ul liA degree or higher in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or similar /li liExcellent technical understanding and experience of working within construction machinery design, development, validation or performance (bexcavator or wheeled loader platforms /b) /li liExperience of construction machinery test, validation and performance /li liAble to work effectively with customers, as well as internal sales, design, development and validation teams /li liHigh proficiency in English (other language skills would be useful) /li liAble to analyse and interpret customer requirements and performance data /li /ul h3Others; Beneficial skills /h3 ul liA hands?on background in construction machinery performance, test, validation or optimisation /li liHigh level understanding of hydraulic systems and control for excavators, wheel loaders or similar (heavy machines for construction/off?highway, agricultural purposes) /li /ul /p #J-*****-Ljbffr
