Summary:

We are looking for a results-driven Senior Swift Developer with deep expertise in

- modern iOS development
- deep knowledge in BLE, NFC and Beacons
- UX/UI implementation
- CI/CD

Personal skills

- Ability to speak, understand and write English fluently
- Empathic communicator
- Able to manage complex situations, like taking over applications/developments from developers to be phased out.
- Hitting the right abstraction layer for technical documentation.

Technical skills

- Master degree in computer science, comparable degree or more that 10 years of experience in development
- More than 3 years of experience in development of iOS apps using Swift
- At least one time member of a development team that developed an app installed more than 25.000 times
- At least experience with one implementation having an interface to SAP or similar backend
- Secure handling of Git, GitHub and GitFlow
- Knowledge of agile working methods such as Scrum or Kanban
- Solid database and SQL knowledge
- Languages & Frameworks: Swift, Objective-C, UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine, CoreData, CoreAnimation Secure usage of Jira and Confluence
- IEC 62443 - security/secure development lifecycle
- Exposure to/experience with physical access and mobile credential solutions
- Experienced in performance, reliability and battery optimization.

Technical:

- UX/UI Implementation: Advanced skills in translating Figma/Sketch designs into pixel-perfect interfaces, implementing new navigation paradigms,



and optimizing for accessibility (VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, Color Contrast)
- State Management: MVVM, Redux, Coordinator Pattern
- Testing: UI Testing, Test Automation, Regression Testing
- CI/CD: Fastlane, Jenkins, App Store Connect
- App Distribution: TestFlight, Enterprise Distribution (AirWatch)
- Analytics & Crash Reporting: Firebase, Sentry, Blackduck, Severity
- Collaboration: Agile/Scrum, Jira, Confluence, Code Review (Pull Requests)
- Documentation: Markdown, API Documentation, Confluence
- Experienced in Bluetooth communication and stack (interfacing with hardware, apps working offline)
- Azure cloud environments and REST API.

Technical Skills - Optional

- App Distribution: Google Play Store, Enterprise distribution (e.G. MDM / AirWatch)
- Secure handling of AirWatch payloads
- AirWatch administration know-how
- Inter app communication using shared memory areas in iOS
- Experience in iOS split screen programming
- Experience with incapptic
- Knowledge in ABAP development
- Interface development to SharePoint backends
- Experience in SharePoint development
- Development of Android apps
- Full stack development

Company Preconditions

Mandatory precondition:

- At least 3 developers meeting the mandatory skills for developers
- None of the major Schindler competitors is shareholder
- Ensure the compliance to Schindler development standards
- Ensure the compliance to Schindler IT security standards

Optional preconditions:

- Global footprint
- Extended workbench nearshore and/or offshore
- Not working for one of the major Schindler competitor
