Offer Description
The research focuses on dynamic choice architectures: the techniques used to craft digital interfaces and environments affecting users' decision-making.
The researcher will develop the legal component of the topic: a survey of the relevant European legal framework (unfair commercial practices,
the bodies of law governing the layout of products and services, the regulation of the digital ecosystem); the analysis of the normative models of user behaviour developed by EU law and by the case law of the Court of Justice, and of their limits vis?à?vis design techniques operating on individual vulnerabilities, preferences and cultural determinants; the translation of the experimental evidence produced by the project into xlwpduy normative thresholds and legally operative categories, in coordination with the behavioural?economics component.
The position requires a legal profile with international research experience, aptitude for interdisciplinary work, and expertise in the area of innovation law.
