Vaultica is a fast-growing pan-European data centre platform supporting critical digital infrastructure across Europe. As we continue to expand our operations, we are strengthening our Finance organization and are now looking for a dedicated Junior Procurement Specialist to join our team in Milan.
About the Role
Full-time, reporting to Procurement Manager, in order to support in the day-to-day execution of the purchase-to-pay cycle; Support procurement and Finance functions in performing tasks associated with the purchasing and planning of materials, assist in tracking costs and materials for our projects.
Responsibilities
Support in the creation and maintenance of purchase orders in NetSuite; and in verification of accuracy of items, pricing, quantities, and budget/cost-center
Support in the tracking of payment applications, material deliveries, and change orders across active projects
Support in the maintenance of Vendor’s master data on NetSuite, including creation of new profiles and making sure that old ones have been filled in with correct information;
Support coordination of proof of delivery/pick tickets and support in the resolution discrepancies between PO, receipt, and invoice
Process goods and service receipts against purchase orders, coordinating with site owners, warehouse staff,
and budget owners to confirm delivery or completion of services
Support in Procurement Projects, gathering data, preparing reports and documentation, and helping monitor progress against deadlines;
Act as a point of contact for routine procurement matters when the Procurement Manager is unavailable, escalating anything outside agreed boundaries
Qualifications
At least Bachelor’s degree in economics, Management, Engineering, or a related field
Experience 0-2 years
Working knowledge of Oracle NetSuite (or equivalent ERP) considered a plus
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, verbal and written
Analytical mindset and goal oriented
Team player
Solid Excel skills and general IT/MS Office proficiency
High proficiency in written and verbal English as well as another EMEA language
Proactive mindset and willingness to flag issues (missing documentation, process gaps) rather than wait to be asked
Prior exposure to procurement, digital infrastructure, data center, or IT industries is a plus, but not required
