We are looking for a person who will join Moleskine as a Business Development Intern.

The position is hybrid based in Milan.
Scope of the role
The person that will join our team, will support cross-functional business activities with a primary focus on data analysis, marketing support, operational coordination, and business development. This role offers hands-on exposure to the commercial operations of a multinational company for the Middle East, Africa, East European region. The intern will directly report to the Country Manager Mea & Mediterranean Area and to the Key Account Manager Russia, Cis & East Europe. The intern will contribute to strategic initiatives by analysing data, supporting marketing efforts, managing pricing information, and facilitating order and partnership processes.
Main activities:
1. Data Analysis:
• Analyse and report on sales, customer, and products to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions.
•Market analysis including Demographic data, Custom duties , competitors and pricing.
• Support the Regional Directors in the creation of reports, presentations and performance tracking.
2. Marketing & Communication:
• Assist in the development of communications tools particularly Innovation range, special offers, novelties and go to market plans.
• Support the execution of marketing campaigns.
3. Order Management & Operations:
• Collaborate with the operations team to track and follow up on orders and ensure timely fulfilment.
4. Strategic Partnership Support:
• Assist in managing strategic partnerships in the MEA region.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure partners receive timely and effective support.
5. Business Development Support:
• Support business development efforts in new markets, helping identify new opportunities and setting up new distribution partnerships.
6. Price List Management:
• Update and maintain accurate price lists, adding novelties, marketing status.
Requirements:
•Currently pursuing master's degree in business administration, Economics or a related field.
•Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint.
•Communication skills (verbal and written).
•Languages: English & Italian.
•Comfortable working in a cross-functional and multicultural environment
Nice to have:
•Familiar with business Intelligence tools.
Training Objectives:
The intern should be able to grasp by the end of the internship the following objectives:
