Senior MEP Project Manager – Data Centre

Location: Milan, Italy

Contract: Freelance

Duration: 18 Months+

Start: ASAP

Overview

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced MEP Project Manager to join a leading General Contractor delivering multiple hyperscale Data Centre projects across the Milan region.

With several live projects currently under construction, they are looking to strengthen their on-site delivery team with experienced Data Centre professionals capable of managing complex MEP packages from design through to execution.

Your Responsibilities

- Lead the delivery of MEP packages on large-scale Data Centre construction projects.
- Coordinate design teams, construction teams and subcontractors.
- Manage procurement, technical coordination and programme delivery.
- Drive look-ahead planning and improve site productivity.




- Resolve design clashes and technical issues.
- Monitor construction progress and ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality.
- Work closely with project stakeholders throughout the full project lifecycle.

Your Requirements

- Previous experience as an MEP Project Manager on Data Centre projects.
- At least one completed Data Centre project.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
- Able to manage projects from design through construction.
- Fluent Italian and good English.
- Available to work full-time on site in Milan.
