/ph3Position /h3pbDesign Engineer – Electric Motor /b /ppThe Design Engineer – Electric Motor is responsible for the design and development of mechanical components and systems for electric motors and electric powertrain systems, ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory, quality and cost requirements.
/ppThe role covers the entire product development cycle, from concept phase to production, contributing to the development of innovative solutions for high-performance electric motors, product industrialization, and continuous improvement of engineering solutions.
/ppbKey Responsibilities /b /pulliDevelop 2D/3D models and technical drawings of components and systems for electric motors; /liliDefine technical specifications and project requirements in collaboration with Engineering teams; /liliDesign and optimize mechanical components of electric motors; /liliPerform basic engineering analyses (sizing, tolerances, material selection); /liliSupport development activities related to system performance, reliability,
efficiency, and durability; /liliEnsure product manufacturability in collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering; /liliSupport simulation and technical verification activities (FEA, thermal and structural analyses where applicable); /liliManage design changes and product configuration; /liliEnsure compliance with technical standards, regulations, and quality requirements; /liliParticipate in internal and external design reviews; /liliSupport prototyping, testing, and product validation activities; /liliContribute to product cost, weight, efficiency, and performance optimization.
/li /ulh3Requirements /h3pbTechnical: /b /pulliMaster's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Automotive Engineering; /liliKnowledge of design principles for mechanical components used in electric motors and electric powertrain systems; /lili2D/3D CAD design skills (e.g., CREO, CATIA, Siemens NX, SolidWorks, or equivalent); /liliKnowledge of materials and manufacturing processes; /liliAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and GDT; /liliBasic knowledge of structural and/or thermal analysis (FEA knowledge considered a plus); /li /ulpbSoft: /b /pulliStructured technical problem-solving skills.
