Data Center Design Manager (Electrical) — Spain/Italy

Our client, a global leader in energy management with operations in over 175 countries, is looking for a Data Center Design Manager (Electrical) to join their Design Engineering team supporting the South Zone, reporting to the EMEA Director of Engineering – Data Center Segment.

Lead electrical design on data center projects from concept through construction support and closeout. Stay hands-on in electrical design while providing technical leadership for mission-critical facilities, coordinating engineers and SMEs across multidisciplinary teams. Own design quality, standards, and deliverables;
mentor the wider team;
act as client-facing technical lead;




and guide value engineering and technical decision-making through to site commissioning. xysqume

What's required:
BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred), 8–10 years' experience
Proven delivery of electrical engineering for mission-critical facilities (MV/LV distribution, transformers, UPS/standby generation)
Strong knowledge of electrical codes and industry best practices
Fluent Spanish and/or Italian, plus English
AutoCAD/Revit familiarity a plus;
awareness of edge computing/AI trends a bonus
