For a low cost air company, Manpower is looking for 1 Ground Operations Airport Supervisor (CTA BASED)
Purpose of the position
The Ground Operations Supervisor is supporting and supervising all aspects of the safe, cost-effective and punctual running of operations in the region they are assigned to. The Supervisor will oversee the airline daily operations and will report to the Ground Operations Manager in charge of the monitored stations.
Responsibilities
General station management support function, as requested by Ground Operations Manager, including, but not limited to:
Ensuring that Air Company’s operational KPIs are being met by the contracted partners at a given airport, daily reporting to the Ground Operations Manager in charge.
On-site supervision of all operations areas (passenger handling, ramp handling, load control, etc.).
Overseeing performance of certain flights, assisting in reaching the desired quality of handling.
Preparing reports on the station’s performance in key areas.
Conducting inspections and daily checks on airports in the assigned Region.
Giving assistance to the Ground Operations Manager in charge airports in the assigned Region.
General administration and reporting duties.
Ensure communication received from Air CompanyOCC.
Ensure GH staff is in place and control their compliance with procedures.
Ensure information correctly displayed on information screens.
Support GH and passengers with information about the reason for disruption.
Support passengers with guidance about the physical location where the due welfare services are arranged by GH.
Verify pax letters handed out.
Verify meal vouchers correctly distributed by GH/DCC.
Support passengers with information how to use the meal vouchers.
Support passengers with information how to receive rebooking service on site and online.
Support passengers with information how to receive hotel service and where they find transport to hotel.
Take lead on communication between GH and airline in special situations (no available hotels, alternate flights, etc).
Any other task assigned by the Head of Ground Operations or the supervisor Ground Operations Manager of the position.
We offer a 12 months temporary contract.
Tempo pieno work on shifts also extended to Saturdays and Sundays (we can guarantee a monthly shift grid) and two days rest for week.
Gross monthly salary: €1,750
