Role Overview

The FP&A; Analyst reports to the Head of FP&A; for Italy, based in our Milan office. The role involves analysing and forecasting financial information to support Senior Management in critical decision-making across the Italian portfolio.

Responsibilities

- Monthly and year‑end reporting with consolidated managerial results, including operating assets, projects under development, and service companies.
- Review financial models to support forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for the Italy business.
- Develop budgets and forecasts, support cash flow estimation for shareholder distributions.
- Prepare and present financial reports to Senior Management and non‑financial stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and trends.
- Conduct variance analyses comparing actual results versus budgeted and forecasted figures, identify variances and provide corrective recommendations.
- Create ad‑hoc reports as required.
- Partner cross‑functionally with other departments to ensure accurate and up‑to‑date financial data.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

- Background in Financial Planning & Analysis or controlling within a corporate environment.




- Proven expertise in financial modelling, forecasting and budgeting processes.
- Hands‑on experience preparing managerial reports and presenting financial insights to Senior Management.
- Proficiency in English, spoken and written (additional languages a plus).
- Tech fluency, including familiarity with or interest in developing AI tools to streamline data preparation and reporting.
