Responsibilities
Participate with the HR Director and Area Managers in the National Committee to define the strategy for the annual payroll and people budget in store.
Identify talent needs, risks, and gaps; create and oversee execution of a plan to address them using talent‑management tools and resources.
Facilitate, execute and/or participate in Talent Reviews/Succession Planning roundtables for business partners, leading the entire process across the business unit/function as required.
Translate business‑unit strategy and create short‑ and mid‑term HR initiatives that support the business strategy for assigned clients.
Support Area Managers in defining a people strategy within the area that is coherent with the company’s vision.
Define recruitment needs in cooperation with the Area Manager and set the proper strategy.
Monitor the network climate (identify any potential environmental issues, guaranteeing consistency and fairness within different areas).
Lead communication flows between Area Managers, Stores and the HR Department.
Supervise respect of existing policies and coordinate with Area Managers disciplinary actions required.
Support the implementation of business‑unit specific development strategies; drive or coordinate the delivery of existing programs or development of new solutions to close gaps and build bench strength.
Establish the training strategy with the L&D; Manager and assure cascading above all retail.
Deliver and deploy the company’s training strategy, leading and coordinating all learning and development initiatives.
Embody the Sephora values and act as a Sephora Ambassador.
Promote, implement, and communicate activities,
policies, regulations and standards related to occupational, health and safety issues.
Ensure proper management of labor disputes, disciplinary actions, and employee grievances in collaboration with legal advisors, maintaining compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Act as a change agent.
Qualifications
5+ years in on‑field HR roles, preferably in retail.
Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. Proactive, adaptable, and aligned with Sephora’s values.
Willingness to travel for business needs.
