General Summary
We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to help shape the future of our IoT developer platforms. With 5+ years of experience, you will contribute to the design of complex workflows that support our developer ecosystem, focusing on how users interact with technical software and documentation suites. This role balances hands‑on design execution, user research and user testing activities, with the goal of making sophisticated software feel intuitive. You will be part of the Arduino UX team, a group of talented designers dedicated to democratizing technology through design and elevating user experiences across multiple touchpoints.

Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional UX or Product Design experience.
- Strong experience working with technical products, B2B SaaS, or enterprise‑grade web platforms or software.
- Experience owning design workstreams or features from concept to delivery.
- Experience working on international projects with a diverse, distributed user base.
- Interest in technology and an understanding of how UX applies to complex technical contexts.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to simplify complex or “technical” problems into clear, usable, and effective user experiences.
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude, open to feedback and iteration.
- Passion and enthusiasm for user experience and technology, with a curious and creative mindset.
- Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in an English‑speaking work environment.
- Education in UX Design, Interaction Design, HCD, or other related fields.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Own and execute the design process for complex websites or products, from discovery and information architecture to high‑fidelity prototyping and production‑ready design deliverables.
- Design scalable solutions and components that align with and integrate into the Design System and the broader Qualcomm design ecosystem.
- Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research activities, including usability testing, and synthesize findings into clear insights that inform design decisions.
- Collaborate in exploring and applying AI interactions that address real user needs in technical contexts.
- Collaborate closely with the Lead UX Designer to strengthen design outcomes through thoughtful feedback, knowledge sharing, and regular design critiques.
