We are looking for a Senior Oracle Database Administrator (Level 3) responsible for managing and optimizing mission‑critical Oracle Database environments, across the Generali Group within GOSP international context.
The role focuses on advanced operational support for high availability and resiliency, security, and database lifecycle management, supporting both operational and transformation initiatives, as well as solid experience in ITSM processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end‑to‑end Level 3 support and handle complex incidents and escalations
- Administer Oracle databases in enterprise environments (RAC, Data Guard, Exadata, ExaCC)
- Manage patching, upgrades, and database lifecycle
- Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Support migration and transformation projects
- Ensure security and vulnerability management compliance
- Meet deadlines and manage priorities effectively
- Collaborate with international and cross‑functional teams
- Plan and implement changes in complex environments, including preparing documentation and supporting committee approval
- Maintain technical documentation (procedures, change runbooks, etc.)
Requirements
- Degree in technical/scientific disciplines (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Oracle database administration
- Experience in enterprise and distributed environments
- Availability for on‑call rotation
- Availability for night and weekend activities
- International travel within Europe may be required
- English: B2 or higher (mandatory)
- Additional European languages are a plus
- Oracle database administration on Linux/AIX (version 19c and above), including RAC environments
- Oracle database administration on cloud (IaaS) context
- Physical and virtualized Exadata, ExaCC
- Backup & recovery (RMAN concepts)
- Oracle Enterprise Manager (monitoring and reporting)
- Oracle Data Guard
- Oracle database capacity, performance and tuning
- Database patching and upgrade management
- PostgreSQL, CNPG, Kubernetes‑based DB platform knowledge is a plus

What We Offer
We offer employment at the VI level with the relevant salary, in accordance with the CCNL ANIA for non‑executive employees and the Generali Group Company Agreement.
Gross annual salary ranging between 50K€ and 60K€. The final offer will be aligned with the candidate’s professional experience, technical and soft skills relevant to the role, and may include an individual variable component.
