Overview

As an Informatics Software Engineer at Abbott Core Diagnostics in Milan, you design and build next‑generation diagnostic software spanning user‑facing apps and robust backend services. You contribute across the full software lifecycle, working closely with cross‑functional partners to deliver high‑quality, compliant solutions. You’ll tackle high‑impact challenges in a collaborative environment and help shape scalable healthcare software. This role offers the opportunity to impact diagnostic products and patient care at scale.

Responsibilities

- Analyze user and business needs to translate into technical solutions
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure applications
- Contribute to software architecture and system design
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers,



and R&D; stakeholders
- Ensure documentation throughout the lifecycle
- Support released products and drive continuous improvements
- Operate in compliance with quality and regulatory standards

Qualifications

- 3+ years of software development (Full‑Stack)
- C# / .NET
- JavaScript or TypeScript (React)
- SQL (Oracle or other RDBMS)
- Strong knowledge of OOP principles
- Fluent English
