Overview
Experteer Overview In this role you drive financial planning, monitoring, and analysis for the HYDRO service business, partnering with project teams to gauge cost-to-complete and performance. You’ll produce periodic reports, support budgeting and forecasting, and help ensure accurate management accounting. You will work with cross-functional stakeholders in an international environment to improve cost control and financial decision-making. This position offers growth through global collaboration and exposure to project-based operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee economic control by monitoring costs, revenues, margins, financial risks, and project progress
- Collaborate with Project Management and other functions to determine costs to complete and understand project performance
- Prepare periodic financial and management reports and analyze variances versus budget/forecast
- Contribute to the definition of forecast, budget, and plan within your area of responsibility
- Support cost center planning and perform variance analysis to identify deviation causes and propose corrective actions
- Participate in monthly and annual closing activities and ensure accuracy of management accounting records and data reconciliation
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in management control, preferably in project-based environments
- Degree in Economics or Management Engineering
- Excellent Excel skills
- Proficiency in using PC and Office suite
- English language proficiency (spoken and written)
- SAP knowledge; Spanish is a plus
- Availability for travel to other regions
